Stellest - Next Generation Technology for Myopia
Stellest's technical superiority
Essilor® Stellest® lens is one of the newest generation of myopia controlling spectacle lenses, appearing to have efficacy to slow myopia progression in children at least as good as the current 'best' interventions of orthokeratology, dual-focus soft contact lenses and 0.05% atropine.
Clinically proven
A state-of-the-art 2-year clinical trial demonstrated strong evidence for the efficacy of Stellest™ lenses. Both one-year and two-year randomized control trial data have been published. In children who wore Essilor® Stellest® lenses for at least 12 hours per day, 7 days per week, their final axial length and myopia was respectively 0.41mm and 0.99D less than children who wore single vision spectacles. The Essilor® Stellest® lens is designed with Highly Aspherical Lenslet Target ("H.A.L.T.") Technology.
Essilor® Stellest™ lenses slow down myopia progression by 67% on average1, compared to single vision lenses, when worn 12 hours a day.
The eye growth of 9 out of 10 children wearing Essilor® Stellest™ lenses was similar to or slower than non-myopic children
2 out of 3 children who wore Stellest™ lenses had a stable need for vision correction after the first year
